What a delightful and memorable trip we had through Holland and Belguim! Ingrid was our private guide for the trip and without her expertise I am sure that we would not have had such a pleasant trip. She was extremely punctual, showed a great amount of patience with our three college daughters being distracted in different directions all at the same time, very knowledgable of the historical and cultural consideratons of the things we saw and was a very delightful and fun loving person to be with. It was her keen participation and awareness of lur family needs that truly made this trip a great success! Her versatility in languages and customs encouraged us to consider her again if and when we take a trip to Spain and Portugal in the future. Thank you Ingrid for everything!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent tour with Ingrid through Middelburg and Bruges/Ghent, Belgium. Ingrid was very informative about the history of the Netherlands, pleasant and flexible with what we wanted to see and do. I spent two days with Ingrid in Amsterdam, mostly on a walking tour and was very pleased with the experience. Ingrid is very knowledgeable and has a lot of energy. She tailored things to my taste, which included architecture, local experiences such as outdoor markets, neighborhoods like the Jordan, a new area (IJburg) some unique shops and Ingrid put up with my bad Dutch, even though her English must have been better. We also did some touring in her car including a stop for pancakes with bacon in a picturesque town and visited the streets in Amsterdam where my father and grandfather lived. I highly recommend Ingrid as a tour guide.

My 10 yr old son and I were visiting Amsterdam and had limited time to visit the areas outside of Amsterdam.I wanted to take him on a day trip outside of Amsterdam so that he could see the beautiful countryside. I inquired about several of the "tour bus" offerings but was not excited by the preprogrammed stops that we would make. I was very fortunate to discover Ingrid thru my searches on the internet. How lucky we were to find someone that enjoyed showing foreigners her country ! She answered all 10,000 of my questions and gave my son her full attention. We set out for the day with no definite plans in place and saw more than I ever expected. We drove on back roads where tour busses can't go and had the flexibility to stay as long or little as we wanted at each stop. We had a wonderful experience that both of us will remember ! Our group of five just returned from a vacation in Amsterdam. We were very lucky to have Ingrid as our tour guide for two of those days. The first trip we toured den Haag, had lunch on the North sea, visted Delft and then visted some windmills on the way home. The 2nd day we visted Bruges and Ghent in Belgium. It was a hot week in the Netherlands so you can believe how much we appreciated Ingrid picking us up at our hotel in a new air-conditioned minivan. I have had other tour guides in Europe and Ingrid would have to rate near the top. She was the perfect complement to our group. She was very knowledgeable, very flexible with our itinerary changes and above all very patient with our shopping whims. She also has a great sense of humor. She gave us shopping tips in Amsterdam, restaurant recommendations and even emailed us a recipe for poffertjes. We feel lucky to have Ingrid as a tour guide and now as a friend.

My family and I had the pleasure of taking a day tour from Amsterdam to Bruge in Belgium during our weeks vacation to Amsterdam. Our second great pleasure was having Ingrid as our driver and tour guide. She blended right in with our group and was careful to include sights that fulfilled everyone's wishes. She was a pure delight and even dropped us at a perfect spot for dinner on our return to Amsterdam.

We spent a great day with Ingrid visiting the little towns that the larger tour groups overlook. The beach area was beautiful and the working windmill was so interesting. We got such a feel for the culture as she shared her extensive knowledge and didn't even mind answering all of my questions. My daughter and I were lucky enough to spend two half days, along with a delightful ride to Delft and a final trip to the airport with Ingrid on our recent trip to Amsterdam. She helped us plan our half day excursions which were wonderful! We did a half day to the Hoge Veluwe, my favorite Kroller-Muller Museum, also the hunting lodge. Another half day to see traditional Folkloric Dutch activities and eat the best pancakes in the world! She made the most of our trip and I'm only sorry we didn't do more with her! We spent a week in Amsterdam at the end of September. We hired Ingrid, who is the best tour guide we have ever had and we have travel extensively in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Ingrid picked us up at the airport and took us to the train station when we left. She gave us a full day tour of the Polders and another of Bruges and Ghent. She was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. She gave us many tips about how things are done in Europe. She took us to places where the tour groups don't go to. We ate in wonderful small restaurants with her. She encouraged us to try different things like raw herring (which I really enjoyed along with jeneveur). We wish there were an Ingrid in every place we tour.

I traveled to Holland with my two business colleagues. We arranged a half day tour with Ingrid. I have been to Holland alone and have used other tours in the past. She is by far the best! Her knowledge, graciousness, personality and charm, made it so nice. She offered us many great suggestions and customized the tour to our desires and available time. It was perfect. We visited real Dutch towns, ate pancakes with locals and felt like we were making friends with the wonderful Dutch people, not just "seeing a show.". We toured a cheese farm and even got to pet the goats. The farmer's daughter explained how the cheese is made and offered us a taste of the cheese that she actually made. She was proud of her accomplishments yet blushing slightly for telling us that she made that particular cheese. My friends and I loved the experiences look forward to the next visit where we can spend some more time with Ingrid. Her English is wonderful. We forgot it was a tour. It felt like we were spending time with an a great friend.

My sister-in-law and I were in Holland for only a day and a half. Fortunately, we had a arranged a half-day tour of Holland with Ingrid. This was the highlight of our trip. If we could do it over again, we would have spent the entire time with her. She is a fantastic guide – very knowledgeable and fun. And she really did customize the trip to our interests.
